Disability Resource Centres
The Disability Resource Centre project is in partnership with The Leprosy Mission International (Myanmar). The centre is located in Taungoo township in Bago division - a 5 hour drive north of Yangon. The project aims to increase access to rehabilitation and educational services for persons, especially children, with disabilities as well as building capacity of local partners geared towards sustainability of the project in the future. The project also includes elements of vocational training and livelihood activities.
