Production Centre for Eye Drops & Glasses


This project is a major producer for low-cost eye drops and spectacles. The project is based in Kandy, 230 km northeast of Colombo. It is a registered national charity that provides support towards control of blindness throughout Sri Lanka, through government provincial eye units. The services includes awareness raising on avoidable blindness, provision of equipment and the production of drugs in the low cost drug unit as well as spectacles.
