Optical Workshop Christian Hospital

The optical workshop is an indispensable resource for the region, considering the high number of eye patients passing through the city of Taxila, Pakistan. Optical technicians are trained for different eye hospitals throughout Pakistan. Since 2001, the Allama Iqbal University has been sending students for six month training courses in optometry. The workshop focuses on affordable products (frames and lenses) for their poor clients via parcel post.
