Press Release: Haiti Emergency Response - cbm to send assistanceJanuary 14, 2010 cbm international will be sending assistance to help the thousands affected by the earthquake in Haiti. cbm has worked with partner organisations in the country for decades, and currently has 13 projects there. Five of those projects are based in Port-au-Prince, Haiti's capital which has been leveled to rubble. Eye witness reports say the city just "fell apart". Read the Press Release

Dr Ignacio Ponseti, pioneer of non-surgical club foot treatment, dies at 95October 21, 2009 Dr Ignacio Ponseti, whose pioneering, non-surgical, low-cost club foot treatment benefited hundreds of thousands of children worldwide, has died. He was 95. Dr Ponseti was the first to propose a method of correcting clubfoot, the most common congenital physical disability worldwide, without the need for surgery. click here to read the article
