Volunteer Week 20-26th June 2010
During the week of 20-26th June cbm celebrated Volunteer Week around the New Zealand. It was a time for us to say Thank You and recognise the efforts of our wonderful volunteers. Time is such a precious resource and yet thousands of volunteers all over the world give their time freely to many worthy causes. Here at cbm New Zealand we are blessed with an incredible team of volunteers that give their time regularly and selflessly, helping us with a number of activities on a day to day basis. An amazing team that come from a range of backgrounds including business, medical and corporate, all willing to assist with any task they are presented with from the more menial (yet vital to our service) to more specialized jobs. We strive to consistently give our supporters a highly professional and personal experience when contacting our office, based in Auckland and with the assistance of our volunteers we keep our staffing levels to a minimum without compromising our service. We also are fortunate to have a number of volunteers based out of Auckland who act as advocates for our ministry and also assist us, saving valuable time when requiring venues for our supporter meetings, by tapping into their local knowledge. |
