Justine’s life has been heartbreaking. As a baby her feet were amputated. When she was very young her mother died and her father became too poor to afford the artificial feet Justine needs as she grows.
Justine was reduced to hobbling about with old sandals strapped to her knees. Other children never stopped teasing her, so every day was filled with loneliness, rejection and humiliation for Justine.
